About Void Brew Co.

Experimental beers, strange ideas, and a community working toward something permanent.

What Is Void Brewing?

Void Brewing Co is a Southaven, Mississippi-based brewing project focused on experimental and story-driven beers. We currently operate through festivals and community events while building toward our long-term goal of opening a permanent brick-and-mortar taproom. Our approach blends traditional brewing with strange concepts, playful mythology, and flavors that don’t always follow the rules. Some recipes return, others disappear, but every batch is treated as part of an ongoing experiment.

Why the Void?

The Void represents curiosity, uncertainty, and the freedom to try things that don’t fit neatly into categories. It’s where strange ideas are allowed to exist long enough to become something worth sharing.Instead of chasing trends, we focus on building experiences that feel memorable, a little mysterious, and sometimes just a bit ridiculous because beer should be fun, even when it’s taken seriously.

Rooted in the Homebrew Community

Void Brewing stays closely connected to the homebrew community by regularly attending local homebrew club meetings, where we experiment with new recipes, share ideas, and learn from other passionate brewers. These gatherings are where many of our strangest and most exciting concepts first take shape, long before they ever reach a festival table or event pour. Staying involved keeps us grounded in the craft and connected to the people who inspired us to start brewing in the first place.

Where We’re Headed

Our goal is to open a brick-and-mortar taproom in Southaven, Mississippi. It will be a space where people can gather, explore rotating experimental beers, and experience the Void beyond a single tasting glass. We envision a taproom that feels welcoming, a little strange, and built for conversation. A place where new ideas are encouraged and every visit feels slightly different from the last.

When the Void Answered

What started as late-night experiments and weird ideas quickly turned into something bigger. Over the past year, Void Brewing has been lucky enough to pour at local festivals and events, where our beers have been met with way more love than we ever expected - including earning People’s Choice at Cooper-Young Beerfest 2025 and taking 2nd place at the Science of Beer 2026.We’re still small, still independent, and still chasing strange, fun, and sometimes questionable ideas… but those moments reminded us that the Void is worth building.

Void Brewing Co is still becoming what it will be. If you’ve found us at an event, tried one of our beers, or supported the journey in any way, you’re already part of what comes next.

Relics Found in the Void

Each creation is a small‑batch experiment, released into the world for a short time
before fading back into the dark.

Recent Seasonal Offerings

Meloncholy Whiskers is a bright yet brooding sour brewed with fresh watermelon and ripe strawberry, balancing juicy sweetness with a clean, tart bite.

A winter warmth pulled straight from the Void that layers cozy chai spices - cinnamon, clove, ginger, and a hint of cardamom - over a rich, malty backbone that evokes fresh gingerbread just out of the oven.

Cowboy Jon rides in with layers of caramel, roasted malt, and a faint hint of smoke. Balanced sweetness gives way to a dry, earthy finish that lingers like dusk on the horizon.

Lemon Bar is that memory reborn: zesty lemon and soft graham folded into a silken sour, kissed with powdered sugar and nostalgia.

Brews at Void Brewing Co are rarely permanent. If you find something you love, don’t wait too long.
The Void does not keep things for itself.
